Through adaptive skating, sled hockey, and inclusive programs, we bring together children, adults, veterans, and volunteers to create confidence, friendships, and unforgettable experiences. The Media vs. Veterans Sled Hockey Challenge showcased how adaptive sports can inspire, educate, and unite people from every walk of life.

White Team: Goalie Jonah McCarthy, Joel Sebastianelli, Mefi Barrera, Steve Spata, Captain Mike Barei, Joe Strong and Marc Henretta. Were members of the media, community partners, sponsors, and volunteers traded their skates for sleds to experience adaptive hockey firsthand. Their willingness to step outside their comfort zone helped raise awareness, build meaningful connections, and showcase the incredible athleticism of sled hockey.

Blue Team: Veterans. Andrew Germann, Randy Nolin, Adam Gottis, Goalie Wayne Jameson, Dave Denhardt, Nate Hayes, Stephen Brezenski, Nick Mendenhall, Marissa Strock, and Captain Josh Deneau. Members of the military veterans came together to embrace a new challenge and experience the excitement of sled hockey. Their teamwork, resilience, and competitive spirit demonstrated that hockey continues to unite those who have served while inspiring others through courage and determination.
