Media vs. Veterans Sled Hockey Showcase Released May 2026

 Local media personalities are invited to participate alongside veterans in a beginner-friendly adaptive sled hockey event designed to raise awareness for adaptive sports opportunities in Michigan. This event will also help promote Hockey Mentors’ annual July 11 adaptive hockey event.

The Video That Started It All

 Before Hockey Mentors officially became a nonprofit, Wyatt partnered with Motor City Veterans Hockey during COVID to create a hockey parody video that helped keep the vision for Hockey Mentors alive while raising funds for Special Olympics Michigan. The project introduced many people to the mission behind Hockey Mentors and helped build early community support that would later contribute to the organization’s growth.
