You can help by making a tax-deductible donation, sponsoring adaptive skating equipment, volunteering on the ice, or connecting us with local businesses and organizations interested in supporting inclusive youth programs. Every contribution directly supports ice time, equipment, and opportunities for our skaters.
Adaptive equipment allows individuals with mobility and balance challenges to safely experience ice skating and adaptive hockey. Donations directly support participant access, equipment expansion, and program growth.

General Program Support
Supports ice time, equipment maintenance, participant scholarships, volunteer training, food for events, and program expansion.

Approximate Cost: $450 each
(Minimum order quantity of 3 required)
Seals provide stable support for younger or beginner skaters who need additional balance assistance while learning to move on the ice. These are some of the most frequently used pieces of equipment during Hockey Mentors events.

Approximate Cost: $1,000+ per sled and stick set
Adaptive sleds allow individuals with lower-body mobility limitations to participate in sled hockey safely and comfortably. These sleds are critical for expanding the veteran and adult adaptive hockey program. These sleds are critical for veteran and adult with injuries.

Approximate Cost: $5,000–$8,000
As Hockey Mentors grows, transporting adaptive equipment between rinks and events has become increasingly difficult. An enclosed trailer would provide safe transport and storage for sleds, seals, skating supports, and event equipment.
Come for a free afternoon of fun, laughter and ice skating/hockey. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Buffalo Wild Wings Arena, 1819 E. Big Beaver, Troy, MI 48083
