June 21st 6 Week 5-10 Adaptive Skate

  A structured 6-week program focused on building balance, confidence, and basic skating skills. Ideal for beginners or those needing more guided support. 

June 21st 6 Week 11+ Adaptive Skate

  A fun, supportive 6-week adaptive skating program for ages 11+ focused on building skating skills, confidence, independence, and friendships — perfect for those who can stand/balance independently and those needing extra on-ice support through Hockey Mentors for Special Players  

June 21st 6 Week Adult Sled

 A welcoming adaptive sled hockey program for veterans and adults with mobility challenges. Learn sled skills, build confidence, stay active, and be part of a supportive team environment — no hockey experience needed.  

June 25th Media vs Veterans Sled Challenge

  Local media personalities face off against injured and disabled veterans in a fun, family-friendly sled hockey showdown supporting adaptive hockey programs and veteran sled equipment through Hockey Mentors for Special Players.

 The Hockey Mentors Summer Event is our biggest event of the year, bringing together children, teens, adults, veterans, families, volunteers, and community partners for a day of inclusive skating, adaptive hockey, games, food, and fun. Whether you're stepping onto the ice for the first time or returning as a longtime participant, this free event is designed to create opportunities, build confidence, and celebrate the power of community.
