Hockey Mentors Annual Summer Event – July 11 | 12:00–3:00 PM. Check-in is 11:30AM.

 A hot meal and crowd-favorite desserts bring everyone together—fueling the day and creating a true sense of community for every participant and family. 

 Every participant is paired with a dedicated volunteer, providing hands-on support, encouragement, and confidence every step of the way on the ice. 

 Children of all abilities are supported with adaptive equipment like seals and skate aids, helping them build balance, confidence, and independence on the ice. 

 Our trained volunteers provide 1:1 support on the ice, ensuring every participant feels safe, supported, and successful from their very first step.  Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

 Participants use specialized adaptive equipment, including sleds and skating aids, allowing individuals of all abilities to safely experience the game and build confidence on the ice. 

 We proudly support adults and veterans with mobility challenges, providing an opportunity to reconnect, build camaraderie, and experience hockey in a powerful and inclusive environment. 

 Every participant and volunteer receives a swag bag, including event apparel and gear. Guests of honor also receive custom Hockey Mentors jerseys—something they can wear with pride long after the event ends. 

 Our silent auction features unique experiences and high-value items, with all proceeds directly supporting Hockey Mentors programs. It’s a chance to take home something incredible while making a real impact. Some items feature unique experiences, sports memorabilia, and exclusive local packages and much more.
