Hockey Mentors provides an opportunity for individuals of any age with any type of disability: physical, psychological, emotional, cognitive, to experience the thrill of ice skating and to learn about hockey. No prior experience is required.
There are volunteers on hand to personally assist each skater. If you have attended a HM event before please wear your t shirt or jersey,
Ice skates are provided along with a limited number of helmets. Each skater is encouraged to have a helmet. If possible please bring a bike helmet (something with a chin strap).
Snacks consisting of water/juice, doughnuts and bagels will be provided.

Family members or other caregivers that will be attending the event.

Hockey Mentors relies on dedicated volunteers to make every skate a success. Volunteers assist off the ice with check-ins and welcoming guests, and on the ice as hockey buddies.
